New Jersey MLS NEXT Pro today launched the club's Fan Council, inviting New Jersey soccer fans to apply for a seat at the table as the club builds toward its first match at NEXUS in Middlesex County in July 2027. Fans can apply now here.
The Fan Council will bring community members together with club leadership to help decide how the club looks, sounds, and feels, from the matchday experience to its traditions to how it shows up in the community. Members will give input on gameday atmosphere and fan amenities, help shape the club's traditions and culture, serve as a sounding board for community engagement and local partnerships, and get early looks at club news and announcements. Members will also help grow the club by promoting it in their own communities.
“This club is being built for New Jersey, and the people who will fill the stands should have a hand in shaping it,” said Brady O'Connor, President of New Jersey MLS NEXT Pro. “The Fan Council gives supporters a voice from day one, with direct access to me and our leadership team, and I can't wait to hear what they want this club to be.”
Fan Council members will receive early access to the club's kit launch, exclusive matchday access and experiences, a year-round merchandise discount, a friends-and-family ticket discount, and first opportunity to select season ticket seat locations.
Anyone who loves the game and wants to help build something lasting for New Jersey is encouraged to apply. The club is seeking a council that reflects the full range of communities across Middlesex County and beyond. Council members will meet monthly with club leadership, including O'Connor, and are asked to commit one to two hours per week to helping promote the club.
To apply, complete this short application by Oct. 31, 2026. Questions can be sent to info@hometownsoccer.com.
